Tour Day by Day

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will welcome you on your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Then drive to the hotel and give you some briefing. Rest of the time is free. You can stroll in the ancient part of Kathmandu or touristic area. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2

Visit Swoyambu, Pharping, Dakshinkali and Kirtipur

Today, we drive to Swoyambu, an ancient stupa situated on a hill west of Kathmandu. It is a sacred site for inhabitants of Kathmandu valley as well Buddhists from around the world. The site is also a habitat for macaques. So you can enjoy watching their activities too. Then we drive to Pharping, a holy place for believers of Tibetan Buddhism because of the cave where Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) achieved Mahamudra Vajradhara (alike Nirvana) in the 8th century. We also visit the ancient village of Newa people which already existed in the 7th century. Then continue to Dakshinkali, which is located at the confluence of Punyawoti and Udharwoti rivers. It is a Hindu temple of the Goddess Kali where sacrifice is allowed. Then, return back to Kathmandu and on the way visit Kirtipur, a city of glory, who defeated Gorkhas three times in the war of 18th century. The city is constructed over a hill with plenty of Shrines with Hindu and Buddhist idols. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3

Kathmandu to bandipur drive

After a breakfast, drive almost 5 hours to Bandipur. The pedestrianized village is in an altitude of 1000m above sea level. On a clear day we can rejuvenate with a splendid view of Himalayas (8000m +) and Marsyangdi valley (-500m) in a single frame. A small tour around the village is interesting to see the lifestyle of people and also for landscape. The architecture of the village is well preserved with authentic vibes. Overnight in Bandipur.
Day 4

Bandipur to Pokhara drive

After a 3 hours’ drive from Bandipur, we arrive in Pokhara. Then we visit the International Mountain Museum, Tashiling Tibetan Shelter and World Peace Stupa. Today we enjoy exploring the Tibetan settlement where people escaped from Tibet during the Chinese invasion. The small museum explains the shelter’s history and we can visit their carpet workshop. The world peace stupa is founded by Nipponzon Myohoji, one of Japanese Buddhist schools . The construction was terminated in 1999 CE. The stupa is on top of a hill with an elevation of 1130m. From the stupa we can have a magnifique view of Pokhara valley with Fewa lake and the Himalaya in the north. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 5

Pokhara to Beni then Tatopani drive

Today we have a 5 hours' drive. We stop in Beni for lunch and visit a small village at the confluence of Myagdi and Kali Gandaki river. Then continue the route and stop once again to visit Galeswore Mahadev temple and continue to drive till Tatopani, literal meaning Hot water. The village is called Tatopani because the source of hot spring water is found nearby village. This small village with numerous small hotels welcome trekkers to Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region. Here we can take a hot spring bath in the public pool near the source of the hot spring. Overnight at small hotel of Tatopani.
Day 6

Tatopani to Marpha drive. on the way visit Tukuche

Today we drive in a narrow off road to enter in the desertic land of the Mustang region. On the way to Marpha we stop to visit Tukuche, a beautiful village of Thakali people. The Tibetan influence culture and architecture is a main attraction of this region and 360° view of Himalaya from Ghasa add more value. The stone paved narrow lane in Marpha is very harmonious with its architecture and the monastery at a height dominate the village. Overnight in Marpha.
Day 7

Marpha to Jomsom and Kagbeni drive then return back to Jomsom

After breakfast we continue to Jomsom. Once we arrive there, leave luggage in the hotel and continue the road to Kagbeni - an oasis in the desert. The typical Tibetan village gives an impression of being in remote areas of Tibet. Because of low precipitation in this region, the house and wall are constructed with mud. The entrance gate of the village purifies all the visitors who enter in the village and Kag chode Thupten Samphel ling monastery associated with Sakya school of Himalayan Buddhism is dated back to the 16th century. Overnight in Jomsom.
Day 8

Fly back to Pokhara then Kathmandu visit Bouddha

In the morning we take a flight from Jomsom airport to Pokhara then we change the plane to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu airport drive to Baudha. Visit the stupa which is dated back to the 5th century (based on the legend related to the king Dharmadev). This is the biggest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. Devotees circumambulate the stupa and prostrate infront of the stupa to pay homage to the stupa every morning and evening. Numerous monasteries related to different schools of Himalayan Buddhism are installed around this Stupa. We visit some of these monasteries. Overnight in Baudha, Kathmandu.
